Mike/Midger - Nice! Great read and sounds like seriously fun fishing. Thank You!
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

Reads just like Mike talks. Well written, interesting and as always, informative. Mike is a wealth of fly fishing information and man, can that fella fish.

Hey Mike, most excellent read!

Thanks for taking us along!
And especially for taking the time to write and submit the article.

Excellent read and not what I was expecting from the title. I've never been there (Lee's Ferry) but I could picture the scene quite nicely. Thanks for the read, Mike. 8-)

How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Thanks for the nice comments. Lee's Ferry is a beautiful fishery even when the fish aren't biting (which fortunately isn't that often). The sheer vertical, red sandstone canyon walls are truly a wonder to behold. Those wanting to go, this is prime time and will be for the next three months. Tight lines.
