Outcast Fish Cat 4 LCS Deluxe

A place to discuss the latest and greatest new gear

Outcast Fish Cat 4 LCS Deluxe

Postby DrCreek » January 23rd, 2017, 3:10 pm

I'm only asking this because I couldn't find an answer online... and because I just bought a brand new one on eBay (the deal was too good not to take)...

Outcast Fish Cat 4 LCS Deluxe. Does anyone know what "LCS" means? Cant find the meaning on the Outcast website anywhere.

Thats gotta be it. I couldnt find it anywhere. Thank God you had it.

I got my 2017 license back in December, but have only been able to use it once due to all the storms. Plus (and this totally sucks)... most all my days off have been frought with rain. Its dang cold out right now, too. However... this weekend looks promising with our daytime temps hitting the mid 70s.. Im totally stoked considering I have this coming FRI SAT and SUN off !! I guarantee I'll be on the water all three days if the weather holds true !! :bananadance:

Come down when you can. Give me more than 14 days notice if possible - and if I'm already scheduled I'll just secure the day off. You know the drill.

Another float tube????? You know you can only use one at a time don't you......At least you can lend one of them out to folks who might want to give the bay a chance.

The current LCS apron is miles better than the old apron that I have on my FishCat 4. That rigid edge keeps the line in the apron, even if it's windy. Mine doesn't. I was trying to find a way to retro fit my older tube to the newer apron, but I currently don't float tube enough to worry about it.

Oh, and having more than one.....or three tubes is normal. Like rods and reels, it's good to have spares. :P

It will always be here for anyone that comes down to SD without one.

Doesn't everyone that float tubes have more than one tube ? Back up, it's just smart. Looks like you have jumped in with both feet on the salt fishing. Good luck this weekend.

Do people have more than one? Initially I thought about how dumb it might sound if I said I got another one. I mean, you can only use one at a time, so...

Anyway, its here if anyone ever comes down and needs one.

Two is not out of the picture, I had three at one time and gave one to Tuna/ Tony lambert for the boy Scouts so now I just have two.

I have always tried to get Karen out there , so I have always had at least 2. Over the years we would upgrade and keep the old ones as backup. We had 5 at one point. Yeah, that was a bit much.

That's awesome. Yesterday I was daydreaming about how much I really enjoy my Echo - the 6wt one that Stanbery added the fighting butt to. I'm thinking I might pick up an OT shift to pay for another one. By far, its my favorite salt stick. It just throws sooo right for me and I'm comfortable with it. Of course if I get one, that just means I'll be having to beg Jon to fix me up with another fighting butt addition. Uhhh... pretty please? :) It might be an inexpensive low-end rod, but it sure feels great when our bay fish are hanging on to the business end.

That's the thought, Commander. Hope its a cool boat ! It was waiting for me yesterday at the front door. Feels twice as heavy as the Trinity ! Fastest shipping I've ever seen (came from some little fly shop in South Carolina). Had to buy another Mustang PFD to go along with it. Guess I had better look at the work schedule to pick up an extra shift or two to pay for this stuff.

I know you would, Jon. I'm so forever grateful for everything you've done to help get me squared away with the salt. I have no doubt that some day soon I'll get another Echo and send it off to you. I really do have a love affair going with that stick. Just gotta do one thing at a time. Its tough. I'm so into this mess, I wanna buy everything I think I need all at once. I'm having a ball though !
