Simms warranty worked for me

Postby Rob909 » January 7th, 2009, 6:08 pm

So after returning from the 9 man-er back in November, I went to clean my boots afterwards like I always do. Just hose them down and let them dry out to try to get maximum life out of them. On this occasion, I started hosing one off and saw that the bonded sole had started to break away from the upper boot. I was so bummed. These were my Keen Wet Wading Boots that I had fallen in love with. I had only purchased them back in April.....on clearance, because they were being discontinued.

So I figured I would just send them in to Simms and see what they said. After an evaluation and a phone call to me to discuss my options, this is what arrived at my front door yesterday.....

They look pretty sweet. I'm hoping to get them on the water either this weekend or next week.

Oh....and not a dime out of my pocket :D

Simms did alright by me :)

Nice Rob. I tried the same with my Chota's and they just fixed them and I had to pay for return shipping. I think I'm going to have to go with Simms on my next pair.
