* I have not even had a chance to go fishing yet this month. I better get out so I have something to enter.

Here's a shot from my trip to Bishop earlier in the month - a very productive run in the wild trout section

*, I need to fish.
Fishing is the most wonderful thing I do in my life, barring some equally delightful unmentionables.

I am really stuggling here to keep from making some wise-ass comment about the Bob/carp picture. Since the internet often strips one's comments of inflection, intent or the twinkle in the eye when telling a joke, I will reserve it for when we next see each other, Bob, even if it takes until July 1st. :D

Anyway, below is my entry for 'picture of the month.' I decided to enter into that category rather than post a picture of a fish where the fish may be better looking than I am. Ahem. Cough, cough.

Couldn't help but just say that this is one awesome monthly thread that I look forward too :D :D :D . Keep the pics coming, I'm hoping I'll have some the weekend after Christmas. :?

Flybob, I like your guts!! Don't let Papa discourage you, eventhough his intentions are good ;) , heck I even submitted a carp photo last month. That will be one of your classic photos to be remembered for a long time. 8-) 8-)

Sweet fish, Dean. That's a great example of the quality fish the urban LA environment can kick out.

Nice fish Dean. I'll bet it pulled a lot harder than those wussy stocker trout, eh? ;)

Mike, are you and Zee going up the East Side the weekend after Christmas? If so, we should meet up in Bishop. My wife and I will have our first 3 day fishing weekend EVER and that's where I'm taking her.

We're planning on it, although most likely I'll only be able to make just one day. I'll let you know for sure though.
