A sincere "thanks" to this forum

Postby theophilus » November 5th, 2011, 8:16 pm

Throughout my wife's battle with cancer, we have occasionally been surprised by a genuine act of generosity. Help has come in the most unexpected ways. Yet, we were surprised a little while back to have received a gift from members of this board who wanted to help Sue and others suffering through cancer. It is no exaggeration to say that the thoughtfulness touched us both powerfully, and the impact of your kindness continues.

Nothing is more important to me than Sue's happiness, which has been increased by your generosity.

There is something remarkable in the kindness of strangers- it is born of true concern, unhampered by a sense of duty or responsibility, and more pure for that. We both value you all as friends, and now, as helpers with us.

there is an immeasurable well of heart felt gratitude behind my simple words "Thank You".

Sue and Doug

You said it well.
