"October" Photo Contest

Postby Benny » October 2nd, 2011, 4:07 pm

Okay I really enjoyed viewing all the images posted in the Photo Contest held by WanderingBlues. This has led me to hold another contest for the month of October.

Here are the rules

1.Photographs must have been taken during the month of October 2011 This will be on a honor system so play fair.
2.Photographs must relate to fly fishing, a place, person, fish, gear, insects, you get the picture.
3.Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified.
4.No HDR (High Dynamic Range) allowed.
5.One photo per contestant, you may submit a different photo before the month is up.
6.Contest ends at 11:59 pm October 31, 2011.

The winner will receive a Greys GS Fly Box with a few flies to start you out in filling your new fly box. Winner will be picked by yours truly ;)

Kudos for keeping the fun alive! I'm going to be looking hard while I'm up in Mammoth this week.

Benny-
Some great looking photos already. We have some talented folks here. Just a note...went to SoCalFlyFisher and must say I am impressed with your writing ability as well as your photography. You have some incredible stuff there and your work really is showcasing your passion for photography and fly fishing. You're going to have your hands full judging this month's contest!

I forgot to mention it that day, but it was great walking behind Bob and looking up to catch sight of that little flag he had stuck in the back of his backpack as we worked our way up the trail and up the river.
