Sasha,

As always you make me envious of the water you have close to home. What a great way to spend the day, even if the fish are small. ;)

I can’t wait until August when I’ll be up there to experience it myself. :)

Little known fact: If you chopped more wood you would catch bigger fish.

Nice report, Sasha, thanks!

Where is the regalia outfit? And while you are at it, don't try waterboarding or the Chinese Water torture; It just doesn't work on trout... ;)

Great Trip Report!

Nice creek report, Sasha! Great pics too. I can't believe how much snow is left on the mountains up there. There is still a bunch in the Sierras, but not that much! I am heading to Cody WY on thurs to fish with my daughter a couple days, then sneaking over to the Henry's Fork.
Set the hook!

Glad you guys enjoyed the report! I still can’t believe I postponed my trip to a lake where I had a real chance of getting 10# bows. Just to go out and fish in the middle of nowhere Idaho for these crappy little guys  ;) ;) ;)

God love those little guys. I think our pal (I forget her name already... cool !) should appreciate the fact that you released all those little guys so that they could hopefully grow up to be twenty-four inch trout that in the future, she can catch, gill F__, and bash over the head while thumping her chest. She's my hero !! Sorry Sasha. You'll always be my hero, but she's my NEW *' hero !! Yea buddy !!

Sorry creek those guys top out in the 12" range in that system. Also there is nowhere for them to go as that creek ends up going underground. So unfortunately nobody would get a chance to fish for them when they are 24". Nor would anybody get to gill F*** them at 24+" :bananadance:

Now I could thump my chest on that creek if you like  Oh and because 2wt rods are "freak" rods; I thought it appropriate to re-class the 0wt as a "super freak". She is my hero as well, I wish she would join the forum here as it has been kind of dull without.......... although there is somebody else showing promise :o :bananadance:

Ok on a serious note: I am glad you guys like the report and pics. Once things shape up a bit more I will post em up (in the normal area). Chinook season also opens up this month. Since I left the camera at home on the last trip of the year in 2010 (and I actually caught some nice ones) I will be sure to not forget it this year.

On I can't wait Chinook, small creeks then steelhead in the fall :D

Sasha

Sorry to see that you did not not catch any 24" fish just some little guys  but it still looked like a nice outing.

So when will you be moving up in the world and go to a 000 weight rod? like Dr. Creek

Looks like Angie is going to permeate the forum for a while. I might as well get my licks.....err, shots in too.

Those fish are so small, they won't even get your your pits smellin' good.
