I began my internet life purchasing such things as butterflies, which at one time were called flutterbyes. I tried to log in as that on one of the lines and it was taken. So it morphed into Fflutterffly way before I ever picked up a fly rod. Then one day I was at Marriots in Fullerton. Standing in the first isle minding my own business I heard someone call out, "Are you fflutterffly?" It was Benny. So the name stuck and I use it on all internet forums. At one time I was Nakedhandss. This supported my life as a single gal, until Reelgal gave me a 2c ring. (Doesn't mean I'm domesticated) So I dropped the the nakedhandss. My cousin on this line is RRaindear. Notice all the double letters. It's a family joke that makes fun of my sometimes stammering.

My screen names are the types of flies I enjoy fishing most--small size 20-26 midge patterns. I have no problem with folks knowing my name as I use the real name on westfly--MikeC. Don't often fish midges in Idaho unless it's on a spring creek or tailwater.

To answer your question about how you know you are banned, you basically see this:

Doesn't matter whether you've been round the block two or three times (like my friend the good Dr.) having vets on the other board hasn't been able to improve it. In fact I see less and less posts by the vets, seems like they are migrating to this board. :P :P

What do they look like and we can vote for you, or you can always rotate them.

Let's own up here boys. I don't think it would be the hair color that is paramount in this voting. so casting my vote, as a member of this tribe, would be to put up a new avitar each week so you all can be happy! I know this is a democracy under a dictatorship. :P :P
