There might be a big one in there

A couple of local boys with the aid of a guide landed this 48” 38# pike out of a local reservoir. It took half an hour to get it in the boat and if submitted and confirmed it will be a new state record. The fish could not be revived so it will be a mount at a local restaurant and lots of trout will be happy that monster is out of the lake. They may not submit so attention is not focused on our local waters.

He’s probably wiped out more than a few schools of trout in his time. What a beast of a fish.
