Pick up one of the walking poles with the camera * in mount in the grip, or one of the things that wraps around sticks (or anything around that is small for that matter). You can then get into the pictures.

A small tripod & self timer will do the trick Criag. You'll be able to be in all the photos

a $15 little remote is nice too... no need to run.

You drove past my house to get to the Meadows. Wish I'd known, I'd have waved as you passed....oh well next time
FYI the small streams you saw are unlikely to have any finny inhabitants, but just a little further up are the upper reaches of Bull Run that has some wild browns in it, not too big but fun on light tackle. The run is closed at this time and you cant typically get in until late May or early June. Let me know some time and we'll go up and hit it together.

I have no issues with the Yotas. Heck, if I was not mechanically inclined and had a fear of rock rash...I'd have bought another Toyota.

Beautiful Pictures....!!!!!!
I've explored some in the Greenhorn Mountains, Lotsa beautiful Little Meadows and Vistas... In the Summer, try the Drive north from Shirley Meadows thru Portuguese Pass to the Johnsondale road.. Pretty scenery all the way...
Love the shots of the Kids having a rippin' good time in the Snow...
