Thank you to everyone who called or stopped by. I almost had more fly fishing folks stop in then I had family! Mike came in the morning after the first long night and was a sight for sore eyes.
I developed pretty intense chest pain and called our local paramedics who immediately told me what I had told countless others.....that we were going to the hospital. Because they were all "kids" who had started their careers with me, there really wasn't much discussion on my part...I was going. I felt pretty good after the spray of nitroglycerin but on the way down I had a run of ventricular tachycardia which can lead to v-fib which is not a good thing. Because of that run, they admitted me to the hospital for three days of tests and I finished today with an angiogram. All of my tests indicated that the chest pain was not part of any on going disease pathology and I am on light duty for 48 hours and then cleared for another fly fishing marathon.
Thanks to everyone who called or shared such kind thoughts. Reading them made me realize what a wonderful bunch I have stumbled into. The thoughts and prayers expressed here and on the phone are worth a million dollars. It really means a lot to me!
I'll take a couple of days r & r and then get to building those rods and fishing the creeks. Thank you all so very much!
