Does anyone have any idea where I could buy bulk foam with ridges....like what you find in a fly box? The foam with slits would also work.

I have some ideas I would like to explore but don't have a clue where to look for the raw foam material.

thanks

Jim

Jim, I pick up a big boat patch at Bob Marriott's quite awhile back. I'm quite sure they still may carry the patches. If BM doesn't have it, you can order from.... Click on the link  Mill Stream Ripple Boat Patch

I saw Ray use foam sticker strips in a drill bit box, it worked just fine as far as I could tell.
I looked for the post but I couldn't find it

Yeah, I have, but the ripple foam patches are more efficient at packing flies in.

Thanks everyone. I still haven't a wholesale or bulk source for the ripple foam. The boat patch will work but is pricier then I had hoped for.
It's gotta be out there somewhere. I have used craft foam...glued with 3M 77 spray glue and it works ok.
