Well in Memphis during the summer, you gotta wake up early to beat the heat and find the bass in the shallows....so today i woke up about 6am, turned on the Outdoor Channel and saw Bill Dance doin his thing, so I said what the heck, I'm gonna go hit the pond myself!! Had a great morning, fished for a couple of hours and landed 4 nice bass...Here are a few pics of the fish!! oh yea, all fish were caught on a topwater popper with green feathers, 1x line.

That larger fish looks pissed off. Great catch.

Where do you guys get poppers like that? I can only find the cruddy Bass Pro "kit" versions that don't really fish well for me.

This was the last place that I picked up some nice looking poppers. CA's is a saltwater fly shop and have a decent section for them. I'll have to call CA's and find out who they buy their popper's off of.

EDIT: I just called any got a knob on the phone. But he's going to call me tomorrow to let me know whether someone in the shop tied them or if they ordered them from some where....I'll keep you posted.
