Re: Retirement Gift:

To be honest Brian, I will probably stick with the Buck knife for cutting and my Russell knife for skinning....you're right about putting them to work! I'll probably just fondle them occasionally, like I do my side by sides! For the most part being a moderator on this board requires little effort, ...

Re: Land of Enchantment

We are not settling down, but... Speaking for all of us who have been following the travels, you better not be! Nice looking place though. I might be out that way in June if you are in town. We have some airline miles we have to use by then and have been talking about a Santa Fe/Canyon de Chelly ty...

Re: Just Breezin Along on Rt 66

I've always loved old signs and pictures of them. We have quite a few just along the 395 corridor as well. Good stuff.

Re: Pinch those barbs down cuz.......

I'm sure many of us remember the worst one yet. Dave (WatchingTheWater) was fishing the Kings when a warden came up and asked to see his license. This was back when you had to have them attached to your body in view and it was gone, had fallen off. So, the warden starting writing him a ticket. Meanw...

Re: Jimbo is a Movie Star?

Pretty cool, Jimbo! Even though I have seen a bunch of your selfies with cutties over the years I don't think I would have recognized you if they hadn't said it was you. You clean up good.

Re: Beer Growlers

Another update: So, I bought that growler back in May 2015. I was excited to bring it into the Mammoth Brewery and get it filled. They told me that they don't fill unmarked growlers, only ones that they sell with their logo. I asked if that was a state reg local reg or company reg and the person beh...

Re: Bass Rod Trifecta

Nice Jon! Now you just need to set it up with nice LARGE Arbor reel and you will be good to go! Yeah, I already have one of those - the one I used on the 8wt I have for sale in the for sale or trade section. I have one empty spare spool for that and will be loading that bass line onto it. Then all ...

Re: Bass Rod Trifecta

Let me also add that it took me less than 60 seconds to upload that picture to Photobucket then copy and paste the link here. That's it. Nothing else. Almost as fast as Facebook. I did not re-size the picture - you don't have to do that anymore. Easy Peasy.

Re: Bass Rod Trifecta

I was just about to seal the deal on the Sage largemouth, but now I think I should wait until the final report from the water, so you should probably go fishing so that you can finalize this report. :D Btw, what do you think about using any of these for stripers? Might be a few weeks before I get o...
