Re: Ultra High Tech Reel

I have a similar reel, the Martin 63 SS, that belonged to my dad. He probably never used it, since there isn't a scratch on it. I figure it would be great to use as a lightweight creek setup.

Your site is censored!!!

Tried to respond to Alpine Angler's post on Kern River Fly Fishing website. I tried to mention flyfishingaddicts.com, but the website censored your site name.

Guy must not like someone here.

Re: Being Careful on eBay

I did use PayPal, not sure what happened.

Luckily, I checked my balance about a day after it was stolen, they charged $1 to Itunes (to see if my card worked), then jammed through some electronic stuff. I called immediately and got all charges reversed and card cancelled.

Last time I tried Ebay, my credit card number got jacked.

Not for me, thanks.

Re: Generic Frogs Fanny Floatant...

If anyone is planning on selling this, might want to check that it is harmless. One lawsuit can ruin your day!

Re: Time for College. SD or Santa Cruz, Best Fishing?

Are you kidding me?

Unless you like Birkenstock clad earth mommas, go to SDSU!!!!!

There are so many hot chicks there, and don't forget the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach nightlife.

Re: Sheriff's will be Enforcing Adventure Pass

I still have one from last season, I never scratched off the month or date, so I think it's still good. I didn't see any year printed so I assume they can be used whenever?

Hope to get up there in a couple weeks, sounds like it's beautiful, but I'll remember to bring a trashbag, too.

Re: Zip Cast Order

I'm sure you're spot on about it's quality, just a bizarre way to order (in)direct.

Re: Zip Cast Order

Just got off the phone with Jerry Brumfield of flyreeldots. Somehow, he has received my order and the other email response was an error. Jerry said his latest order shipped early this week to him (Pennsylvania, I think) and he will fill all our orders when his shipment arrives. He also has my credit...

Zip Cast Order

I ordered a bottle of Zip Cast directly from their website about 10 days ago. Got an email from some one confirming the order (rodmaker@earthlink.net) I inquired about the status, the guy responded saying he's waiting too. He didn't seem to know that the order may have gone to him, and I haven't che...

Re: Cleaning willow sap off flyline?

I have SA trout line, so I guess only soap and water????

I may just wait and see how the Zip Cast works, the sap problem is actually rather minimal.

I sent midger a PM regarding using both, thanks for asking too, Papa.

Re: Cleaning willow sap off flyline?

Ordered some yesterday, just typed Zip Cast on google, got to their website. One bottle was $9.95 plus $2 for shipping. It looks like good stuff and not much more expensive than others, so what the heck.

Re: Cleaning willow sap off flyline?

At $70+ a pop for flyline, I can afford a can of Goo Gone. Not taking any chances.

Re: Cleaning willow sap off flyline?

Thanks for the great information.

I have a can of "Goof Off", anyone know if that would work, it smells kind of turpentine-ish.

I'll score some Zip Cast and Line speed too, thanks.
