Paid a visit to Marriott's today. Look at what I saw. "All conditions. All terrain." Clearly marketed as light wading applications. Tom, I'd recommend buy something else.

Sorry but that photo won't rotate.

Re: Yellowstone Bans Felt Wading Soles

Tom my issue with Korkers is that their rubber soles suck a fat...I never felt so scared of wading in my whole life. I wasn't fishing big water either. I was fishing water similar to Bear Creek. When I complained to them they blew me off stating that they are intended for light wading applications. ...

Re: Yellowstone Bans Felt Wading Soles

I got less than a year on my Korkers until the retaining strap that secures the sole to the boot cracked and separated. Now they are useless. No more Korkers for me. :fireangry: It's a great idea having interchangable soles but.......... :booty: I'm with Bob. Korkers blow. I'll forever trash them t...

Re: Yellowstone Bans Felt Wading Soles

I'm with DS, for the most part I've abandoned felt years ago. I know others many differ but I've never had a problem with Vibram rubber soles even without cleats.

Pennsylvania Fly Fishing?

Looks like I have an opportunity to head out to PA for a week and do some fishing in late June. Anyone of you guys fished this state? Or know a little about it? Anything I should be researching? I'm open to anything. Any part of the state. Any species, trout, smallies, muskie, etc. Any info to lead ...

NV Fishing license

Does anyone know if NV fishing licenses are valid for 365 days after you purchase them or are they like CA and expire 12/31 no matter when you purchase them? This would be a nonresident purchase if that even makes a difference. Looked online and couldn't find any info.

Re: Low Cost CNC Chinese Reels???

Do what you will with your own money but here is my take: I wouldn't waste my money. I believe in quality and not in this disposable culture we live in. One way of thinking is a 2wt reel all it need to do is hold the line so a high end reel is not needed. While I agree with this, you do need a quali...

Has things changed? Last I heard Hutchen changed her position and now requires more than "self defense" as good clause. While possible, I'm wouldn't necessarily call OC pro-ccw.

Re: A Huge Lesson

W.T.F? That's some BS. Too bad Wandering Blues wasn't around to put the ASP to the brain. Was the guy a tweeker? Or just some crazy *? I hope Chris a speeding recovery. That really sucks. I 'd add to your comment about being prepared: its easy to be sucker punched and its often times almost impossib...

Re: A Walk Down Memory Lane...

Cool report. From reports I've seen, beans have seemed to have gotten bigger on average from when I used to fish for them in the early 2000s. That's pretty cool. Too bad I've moved on to other species.

Photobucket changes

Recently you may have noticed Photobucket has changed it's policy regarding third party links. Without a subscription you'll only see this on: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n164/CLee5wt/Fly%20Fishing%202013/DSCN2141_zpsa47f5e83.jpg I suspect, conservatively speaking, this will affect 80% of all...

Re: Luc's A Rockstar

I've always enjoyed spending time with Luc. I always end up learning something. He was telling me before he caught this yellow, he embarrassingly had a wind knot. Luc told Vaughn he could fix it quickly but Vaughn said he'd rather just change out the leader. So that is what Vaughn did but I asked Lu...

Re: Luc's A Rockstar

Just saw on my FB feed Vaughn also got another beast from a different client. Norcal hopefully when you head out with Luc, they're still around biting.
