Well, I only met you and fished with you that one time, but I had a blast and will be be happy do it again or give another spot a go. As Luc said, year-round opportunities for a quick day on the water are nearby. Life happens, take care of things, the fish will be there when you are ready to chase em.

Three summers ago we did a family trip from Portland to Vancouver, The Seattle area is awesome, in all regards. I came back and did a serious 'why do I live here' reality check. I wish I could uproot and move up there. Good luck- enjoy, and keep posting!
