I couldn't get through that area fast enough that day. I kept thinking more would come down as soon as I started through!! Scary.

I haven't gone the route of digital maps yet, other than carrying my garmin gps with me which I really just use to mark my trail so I know how to get back to where I started. I also reference the Tom Harrison Maps. They have a lot of detail and are waterproof. I'm not sure if these are the ones DrCr...

I had a similar experience with some old boots. They fell apart so I sent them in and was told that those boots had been discontinued so they gave me a new pair of boots in an upgraded model. Class act in my opinion
