Re: California Heritage Trout Challenge

I have 3 of them from the Sierras, and a costal. Just need to get up north for two more. The hike in for the LKG's was the hardest of the 3. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z106/antiqueguy_2007/2008-08-2310-45-33_0034.jpg As you can see, they're the most camera shy, too. Re: Went Fly fishing, Caught a Great Horned Owl!

I can't see the video from my iPad. One night I almost ran one over in Coldwater Caynon. It was just sitting in the middle of the street. There were empty trash cans out that night so I managed to get it into one. I didn't want it to get hit by a car and it wasn't flying or walking away like one wou...

Re: BBL Carp fishing.

I have seen them in BBL early in the mornings along the shorelines. Mostly in the warmer days. There were so many, they actually flopped themselves out of the water and beached themselves. I've seen bow hunters target them there. Benny tubed it with a couple others one summer. Over on the observator...

Re: From another forum-amazing

A lot of natural beauty. Wish I could make something like those in crystal or colored glass. Some have a deco appearance. Hard to believe that no two are alike.
Thanks for sharing with us Ariel.

Jimbo

Does it have to be my own rod, or can I break somebody else's rod to be seasoned? :bananadance:

Re: Carry weapons while fishing

I have been aware of this law since I was in the police reserves. Back then the penal code read "while going to or coming from a hunting or fishing expedition" Nothing was ever mentioned in the official book we got through the academy about "unloaded in your car" so that may be a...

Re: Anyone Wanna' Take A Road Trip?

Yeah it's looking to be a solo trip. That sucks  I'm still excited though, I'll post some good pics if I get into some fish. If anyone can make it last minute let me know, there's an open seat still. Dang Eric! I wish I could go, I cut my hand open a couple days ago. Hope you do well up there....

Re: Sage LL

I paid $160.00 at a local pawn shop. I think I did alright, I checked ebay and they looked to be going for $300+[/quote] You did very good. I saw that ad on CL. I didn't jump on it because I have one. I bought it for $50 at a garage sale. It had a broken ferrel, so I sent it to Sage, and they told m...

Re: 9th circuit court of appeals rules against adventure pas

I was on the MT. Lemmon road last January. They wanted $5 if I was not going to park and just drive around. I paid the $5 but was angry with extra fees to park and sight see. I parked in the turnouts to take pictures anyway. Now I want my $5 back! :fireangry: I always bought the AP and gave the $5 s...
