A buddy of mine asked me and I looked but didn't find any. He said that the Farmers Almanac wasn't that detailed, so we are looking for one that will te...

Re: Did you attend the Pasadena FF show today?

Well, as with all the other posts I agree with the sparseness of the show. I also got to check out the cane rods... They are very expensive true... but really nice
There is a buzz out there about this being the last show though.... because of the bad turn out....

We'll see.

Re: Something interesting I saw today

Hey I bumped into this article.... http://ovnblog.com/?p=1611 Pretty sad... The fact that there has to be so much talk about what to do and how to go about doing it is a given. But while they were deciding, bickering or what ever they do...all it would have taken is to send 2 guys with a net and a c...

Re: Fishermen’s fear: Publics right to fish shifting under Obama

Dean you're right, It also is in the constitution. With that said, I also want to add that it is common practice now a days to amend the constitution.... I did do some more research on this. I also read some of those links you posted. It is unlikely, but not completely. You see, if we as recreationa...

Re: choosing flies

Midger hit the nail on the head! No need to elabarate.

Here is a reference for hatch charts that may help in the future. Also shows which flies resemble the insects.

Very good site play around with it and you will find a wealth of info.

Something interesting I saw today

This morning I stepped out of my office to get something from the car and noticed again... yes they were mayflies... Now the funny thing is that my office is near the LA river. This has happened once before. I didn't see them up close this time, they were swarming but not in the same numbers as befo...

You know, the river with Royal ties!

Hi all, Wanted to get some info about the above mentioned body of water, for those of you who have fished it lots, I assume you will get it. Well, you see, I am going to head out that way probably mid week (not decided what day, but I figured Wed.) This will be my first time on the ocean side of the...
