Re: Off road trials to streams of lakes.

Tell us about yourself and your dad. Do you fly fish, lure fish, or bait fish? Do you catch and release or catch and keep. More info will help us help you. Thanks.

BTW, your posting name means kill in spanish? I hope that doesn't apply to your trout fishing.

Re: Finally Available in the United States!!!

I tried a Seychelles straw for a couple of weeks and returned it. There were two drawbacks to it. First, I had to bend so far down to submerge the tip of the straw that it was a pain to use it. Secondly, I found that I liked a bottle of water for those hikes to or from the stream. Seychelles was gre...

Friend's Trip Planning

A friend of mine (actually my Doctor) is planning a trip to Colorado (Boulder area) with his wife to deliver a car to his daughter. Any suggestions as to finishing along the way? He was thinking Green River in Utah as one stop but is looking for other suggestions both in Utah and in Colorado. Thanks.

Re: Kyle's Heading to Humboldt....

Orvis had a sale on the Clearwater rod/reel combo spooled with line and backing. Regularly $316.00, on sale for $250.00. Got another $10.00 from a coupon and free shipping (another $18.95 saved). Got him the 5 weight. I liked Brian's idea; give him a full * so he's completely prepared!! :bananadance:

Re: Information that is too good to share

Especially in the local mountains. There are some spots that have been generously shared with me when friends took me to fish them. I won't share those spots at all except to fish them with people who already know them.

Re: Guide Recommendation

John Herzer or his wife Terri at Blackfoot River Outfitters can set you up. It's been several years since I've used them but their service is first rate.
