Re: All California National Forests Closed

I saw this posted elsewhere - the sentiment that the complete closure of these public places represents essentially an affirmation of failure on the part of the natural resource management under the Forest Service/Feds. That is is basically saying we can't manage this with our current resources, so...

Re: America's First National Park

I just imagined lines of cars and a fisherman every 10 yards, where I had fished every other water wit...

Re: Neoprene booty bunching in stocking foot waders

Good luck. I gave up on waders because of the same issue. Or, it was custom order some for over $600 and hope they fit. I just use wading socks now, but mainly for creek/small river fishing. I found some real nice wading socks that come up pretty far on my lower leg. I can post up the name when I ge...

Re: Short rods- 6'- 7'

Wow Luc nice fish! Think I like the looks of the Winston too. I'll agree to most of the points here the shorter 6'6" rods for me cast great but as mentioned think they fall short in line control. Currently I've been using a Redington 7'6" 2wt classic trout and like it maybe more than the ...

Get on a sport boat out of San Diego, the bluefin, yellowfin, and yellowtail bites are on fire. My buddy just got a 230 pound bluefin last week!

I'm headed that way in July after the GTW jubilee. Planning on the fishing NE corner, but I'll be entering from the south, so not sure how best to access that area.
