Re: December Fish Of The Month Challenge

Here's a shot from my trip to Bishop earlier in the month - a very productive run in the wild trout section http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h61/RichardCullip/Bishop_12_5_08/Web010.jpg of course, I also like this one solitude on the lower Owens http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h61/RichardCullip/Bi...

Re: Needa Reel!

Lots of great reels to choose from. I love the Galvan Torques but they might be more than you want to pay ($400 for a T-8). I know the guys over on Dan Blanton's board have great things to say about the Sealevel Tempest reels. Good basic draw-bar cork drag reel that will handle bigger fresh water fi...

Re: Gotta Reel!!!

... but then he said that I needed a Sage reel to go with a Sage rod. Anything else would be blasphemy. Does this mean I'm doin' it all wrong by having baby Galvan's attached to my Sage's? ;) If you're doing it wrong, Dr, I'm in the same boat. I love those Galvan reels including the little one I've...

Re: Float Tubes

I've been using the Outcast Trinity for a couple of years now and, once I got over the initial price sticker shock, I've been very pleased with the purchase. Judging by the price, Outcast is very proud of their Trinity - but it is comfortable to fish from and very light weight.

Re: John Sherman & Guy Jeans @ the Spot in Dec.

That's a great line-up, Ken. I just might have to see if I can get down there (with an early morning stop at the beach before the presentations of course). However, I might be in Bishop fishing the Lower Owens.
